Kiddo Lifestyle | Mikayla Starts Kindergarten

COVID + Kindergarten equals a mix of emotions for sure. Such strange times we’re in. At least kids are resilient. She’s so excited & the thought of wearing a mask on both the bus and at school doesn’t even phase her. I really can’t believe she’s starting Kindergarten. Penn Manor only offers half day kindergarten, so honestly it won’t really be that much of a shock to our systems until next year when she starts 1st grade. My little girl is looking so grown up these days, especially when I compare photos year-to-year. I know she needs the socialization of it all and is so ready to get back into school, to make new friends & take direction from a teacher instead of her mom. 🙂 I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll at least get a few weeks of school in before we potentially could all be forced to go virtual. She was all into taking these photos for me this year and of course you know how much that made my heart happy. And her sister… you ask her to take a photo and she’ll collapse and throw a tantrum or run off into the distance to pout. But leave her out of a photoshoot, and she will do anything she can to be included. Just look how happy she looks. Kids.

We love our Kayla Rae and cannot wait to see all she accomplishes & learns this year. xoxo.
