Kiddo Lifestyle | Audrey Turns 1!

Our little 1 year old wasn’t quite feeling herself on the day of her party. A missed morning nap + a runny nose + teething issues… all wrapped up into a sad little Audrey overwhelmed by all of the commotion. But let’s face it, with her daddy’s side of the family equating to 18, she’s used to the loud & crazy. It’s just never fun when you’re not feeling well :/

We had appetizers & way too much food. But that’s just how I roll I suppose. Better safe than sorry. And I always welcome leftovers with open arms at this house. We did presents soon after eating to keep it rolling along so she could hopefully go upstairs and nap, the poor girl. So many fun presents. Although of course during the party, she mostly played with the scraps of wrapping & tissue paper lying around.

Then we sang happy birthday & had cake & fruit! None of which she attempted. She did get to nap though! So that’s something.

Thank you to those that attended & loved on our sweet girl this past year of her life. I can’t believe we’re here at 1 already, but let’s be honest… I say that every year when one of my kids upgrades to another year. It just flies by way too fast. Even faster with the second kid unfortunately.

Happy Birthday Audrey! I can’t wait until you’re feeling 100% healthy again & this runny nose thing can leave you alone. I guess that’s sort of hard to come by these days however with it being winter, gym daycare germs, Mikayla going to school and bringing home germs + all of that teething you’ve been doing. It’s inevitable for the time-being. But you certainly handle it all like a champ. You sleep the majority of your days & smile, giggle & play in between. Your smile lights up a room & we love you so.
