Kiddo Lifestyle | Girl Takes Yellow Dress for a Walk

Mikayla was napping this afternoon & once she woke, I decided to hit a local field for some shots with a very sparkly, yellow dress that’s been hanging in her closet from a yard sale.

It was sort of a “spur of the day” decision so I had dinner awaiting us in the crockpot for our 6 p.m. arrival back home. She wasn’t too crazy about me pointing the camera toward her. She kept yelling no & getting mad & tears were shed. I kept telling her to just look the other way that I wasn’t even asking her to look at the camera, but she wasn’t having it. I kept pushing through, like I always do & am glad I did. Thankfully she still loves me.
