Baby Emily Mae | Newborn Lifestyle Session

It’s always fun reconnecting with people that you went to high school or college with. Ashley & I have known each other since middle school maybe? I honestly can’t remember. I know that our brothers became BFFs at some point, so they were always hanging out.  Tom hung out with some of the same crew that I hung out with in college, so I remember seeing him around a few times. Not that we ever really talked or hung out… but it was cool to then hear along the way after we graduated that Ashley & Tom were together… got married… & now they have their first baby. A sweet baby girl named Emily Mae or Emmy for short. She truly is beautiful.

They welcomed me into their home to spend the morning with them & capture some relaxed, early days at home with a newborn. She was only 9 days old when I arrived to meet her. She was honestly the best baby I’ve ever worked with. I didn’t hear a peep the whole time! Her Mommy nursed her once while I was there & she was awake for most of her photo session!
